Policies & Procedures

Payment: full payment is due on the day of your session. I accept Interac e-Transfer, Visa, and credit card. A receipt is issued once payment is received, suitable for submission to your extended health insurance provider. I offer a sliding scale for students — if you are currently studying and the fee is a barrier, please say so when you get in touch.

Cancellation: a minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Missed appointments, or cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice, will be charged at 100% of the session fee. Exceptions are made for emergencies and on a case-by-case basis.

Scope of service: I provide individual psychotherapy to adults aged 18 and over who are physically located in Ontario at the time of the session, as required by my registration with CRPO.

In a crisis: SolPsy Center is not a crisis or emergency service, and I am not able to respond to urgent messages outside of scheduled sessions. If you are in immediate distress or concerned about your safety, call or text 9-8-8 (Suicide Crisis Helpline, available 24/7 across Canada), call 911, or go to your nearest emergency department.
